This is an RKM written to reverse Single/Multiple Files present in Local or Agent

Note :- This RKM handles all types of data as String only.

The different options are

• DELIMITER :- Provide the Delimiter of the File
• FILE_EXTENSION :- In order to reverse multiple Files in the Folder , please use this option else let it blank. ( Ex – *.txt, *.dsv )
• GET_DELIM – This option can be used for RKM to find out the appropriate Delimiter
• HEADING – Provider the Row No of the Header Location.

Reversing single File.

• To reverse single File , provide the File Name with extension in Mask.
• Either provide the DELIMITER or Select True on GET_DELIM.
• In case if the Heading is not your First Row . Please provide the Heading Row No.

Provide the RKM with appropriate options.

In the Mask provide the File Name with extension. Provide the appropriate delimiter in the DELIMITER option.

Reversing Multiple Files.

• Provide the Mask as %
• If all the Files have same DELIMITER then provide the appropriate delimiter , else Enable GET_DELIM
• Provide the appropriate FILE_EXTENSION ( Ex – *.txt, *.dsv )

Let’s see a small example to reverse multiple files with extension *.dsv but have different delimiters as you can see in the below screenshot.

Provide the appropriate options and click on reverse

As you can see from the below screenshot all the files are reversed with appropriate delimiter.

While using the option GET_DELIM ,if RKM detects two or more different Delimiter or characters, at the end of the completion an Error will be raised showing the File and Characters. You can then individually reverse those file using the appropriate delimiter.

I hope this will solve reversing Files located in Agent Server to some extend .
